What Trailio Does

Trailio is a modular intelligence platform for organisations that need verifiable answers to questions that traditional supply chain systems cannot reliably answer: Is this product authentic? Who had custody of this asset? Was this shipment compliant? Has this package been tampered with?
We call this discipline Digital Trace Assurance - the ability to attach cryptographically secured, tamper-evident identity to physical objects and transactions, and then build an immutable record of every event in their journey.
Trailio does not replace operational systems. It adds an intelligence and assurance layer above them - connecting ERP, WMS, customs, and compliance systems to a unified trace record that can be interrogated, audited, and acted on.

Serialised Identity
Every unit, asset, or shipment receives a unique, cryptographically secured identifier at origin. No two items share an identity. Each identity is registered to an immutable record.
Tamper-Evident Events
Every scan, handoff, transfer, inspection, or verification is logged as an immutable event. Events cannot be altered retroactively. The record grows forward, never backwards.

The combination creates a closed trust chain: the physical security product prevents tampering at the container or package level, while the Trailio platform digitally records every event in that product's lifecycle. Neither layer is sufficient alone.
